LONGER:  John Mitchell from Scotland (guitar and vocals) and Sofie Jonsson from Sweden (fiddle and vocals) have built their own unique sound on a firm foundation of Celtic, American, and Swedish folk music: "folk music beyond the ordinary". Having played nearly 800 concerts together, they were awarded "best live experience" at the Dalecarlia Music Awards 2017.

LONGEST:  John Mitchell from Scotland (guitar and vocals) and Sofie Jonsson from Sweden (fiddle and vocals) have built their own unique sound on a firm foundation of Celtic, American, and Swedish folk music. Vocal harmonies blend with fiddle and guitars, and original material is mixed with traditional pieces, ranging from contemplative beauty to high energy and intensity.

Recent gigs include Å-festen 2019 in Falun, Dansbandsveckan 2018 in Malung, Bingsjöstämman 2017, Magasinet Falun (the Dalecarlia Music Awards 2016), Fasching in Stockholm (the Manifest on Tour 2015 finals), Sweden's largest midsummer celebration to 30,000 people in 2022, and Tootsies in Nashville.

Their song Gagnef Girl reached no 36 on Spotify's playlist Viral 50 - Sverige, and their latest hit Peter is popular on the radio, charts, and playlists.

We won the "best live experience" category at the Dalecarlia Music Awards 2017 and were nominated in this category for three years running. We were the 2016 ambassadors for the Swedish showcase festival Folk at Heart.

Our 2011 album Western Highways gathered reviews such as "folk music beyond the ordinary" (Sur la Route de Memphis Magazine, France).
